Financial Help

The University offers staff and students sources of financial support towards meeting the costs of childcare:

Students – Dennis Turner Opportunity Fund
The University offers financial support to home students experiencing financial difficulties. Further information about this can be obtained from the Funding Support Team, part of Student Support and Wellbeing, who can be contacted on 01902 321070.

Childcare Grant
This is available to home students on low incomes and can be worth up to 85% of childcare costs. For further information take the link to childcare grant and download application form CCG1.

Childcare Vouchers

The Nursery is registered to accept childcare vouchers which can be obtained as an employee of University of Wolverhampton or where a parent is employed elsewhere.  Vouchers provide a more flexible way for eligible staff to meet the costs of child care. University staff may exchange part of their salary for childcare vouchers, which in turn offer savings on tax and national insurance contributions.  For more information please visit computersharevoucherservices.com or contact 08450021122.

Tax Credits
The Working Tax Credit is now available if you work 16 hours or more a week. Contact the Inland Revenue for more information
