Fees and Costs for International Students

Please note: The tuition fee charged in subsequent years will be subject to an annual inflationary increase.

International Fees 2021/2022

  • Undergraduate full-time courses (Non-lab based): £12,950 per academic year 
  • Undergrdauate full-time course (Lab-based FSE only) £13,450 per academic year
  • Postgraduate Taught full-time courses (Non-lab based: £13,950 per academic year
  • Postgraduate Taught full-time courses (Lab-based FSE only): £14,450 per academic year
  • Postgraduate Taught full-time courses with Professional Placement: £14,950 per academic year
  • Postgraduate Taught full time courses Extended: £15,500 per academic year

  • MA Social Work £10,900 per academic year

Deposits

International students, those who have been assessed as requiring a Student Visa or who will be charged the overseas fee, will normally be required to pay a £3,000 deposit, and will be required to pay 50% of the remainder of their tuition fees in addition to any deposit, prior to completing enrolment’.

All international students pay a deposit. for terms and conditions and further information please contact internationaladmissions@wlv.ac.uk 

This deposit will be deducted from the relevant tuition fee upon arrival.

Living costs

It is important to carefully consider the financial implications of studying in the United Kingdom. In additional to paying tuition fees, you will need to cover your living expenses, including accommodation, food, heating, travel, books and stationery.

The UK Border Agency requires you to have a minimum amount of savings in your bank account before it will issue you with a student visa to enable you to study in the UK. More information can be found on the UKCISA website.

Living Costs​

This is the amount as estimated by the UK Visa and Immigration (if you are studying outside of London) - £1,023 per month for 9 months. ​

The money will be required to be in the student’s own bank account or parents/legal guardian for 28 days minimum before they apply for their visa. This is checked our dedicated team before releasing CAS​
