Car parking is a limited and valuable commodity that is expensive for the University to maintain and operate and demand for spaces outstrips supply.

This policy applies to all employees and students at the University of Wolverhampton as well as all visitors and external individuals and organisations using University car parks.

This policy forms a part of the University Travel Plan that demonstrates its commitment to reducing the reliance on the car through a number of mechanisms, initiatives and targets aimed at reducing the impact that travel and transport generated by its activities has on the environment.
