Linguistics is the study of how language works and how it is used. Studying Linguistics will give you a thorough understanding of the mechanisms and applications of language.
Linguistics can be studied with one of the following:
- Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
- Teaching of English for Speakers of Other Languages with Foundation Year (TESOL)
- English Language
- English Language with Foundation Year
- Deaf Studies
- Deaf Studies with Foundation Year or
- Deaf Studies with Sandwich Placement.
