The Faculty has a dedicated Knowledge Transfer Team:

Helen Sargeant- Principal Lecturer Knowledge Transfer and Apprenticeships

Helen is Prince 2 qualified and is an ECQA accredited EU Project Manager and has extensive project management experience having led a number of large EU projects including a KA2 (Languages) and Leonardo Transfer of Innovation. Helen also has experience of commercialisation and resource development across a number of fields. Helen has an early career background in the commercial sector and has an MBA. Helen currently leads two Erasmus+ projects: SignMedia Enterprise and SignMedia Vocational Training. 

Scott Knight - Business Development Manager

Scott is the Business Development Manager for the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences. Scott has worked in Higher Education Art & Design since 2001, having previously worked in retail logistics upon graduation from University in 1996. He has worked on numerous projects with SMEs in both the East and West Midlands. 

 

Dr Francesco Paradiso - Research and Impact Development Manager

 

Dr Francesco Paradiso is a Senior Research Fellow. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He joined the University of Wolverhampton in 2015. He engages in research development and bid development across the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences.

Alison Carminke - Academic Enterprise Manager (0.4 FTE)

Alison has worked at the University of Wolverhampton since May 2008, starting in project and finance administration, and progressing to bid writing and project management for a number of national, EU and worldwide projects. She is currently the project manager for one Erasmus+ strategic partnership and a Creative Europe project. Alison is PRINCE 2 qualified and also holds a Certificate in Research Management from the Association for Research Managers and Administrators. Prior to joining the university, Alison gained a CELTA qualification and taught English as a foreign language in Japan. Her background is in linguistics and she has a masters in English language. 

Natasha George - Academic Enterprise Manager (0.6 FTE)

Natasha joined the University of Wolverhampton in September 2019. She currently project managers three Erasmus+ strategic partnerships (MeLDE, LIGHT4HEALTH and SSaW). 

Abda Aslam – Project Manager

Abda is a Graduate Project Manager for the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences. She joined the Knowledge Transfer Team in February 2018. Abda is currently supporting a number of EU projects, which include Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships and Creative Europe projects.

Prior to this role Abda has worked a number of job roles including Apprenticeship Hub Assistant, Marketing Graduate and Research Assistant, all within the university, to help her gain many skills for this role. Abda also successfully gained a First Class BA(Hons) Business and Marketing Management at the University of Wolverhampton.
