Wearing Out Waste, 12.07.2019

Description

Over the past year there has been lots of discussion about the detrimental effect the textile industry is having on our environment and what the industry is trying to do to stop it.

You are cordially invited to attend this FREE workshop organised by EnTRESS (Environmental Technology & Resource Efficiency Support Services).  We will be looking into waste material and the waste water that is produced at every stage of textile manufacture and how the industries in and around the Black Country can and are already helping to combat these issues. We will also be presenting a case study from a company that we have been working with.

We hope that you take away from this event a better understanding of the impact this industry is having on our planet and the solutions that are developing to counteract this.

There will be presentations and exhibitors from businesses in and around the Black Country alongside academics from the University of Wolverhampton. There will be opportunities for networking and a chance to discuss the topics of the day with likeminded businesses and develop new relationships.
