Matt Mellors - Project Manager

Matt graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in Politics in 1997.  Prior to joining the University in July 2002, Matt held a number of positions in the building technologies sector across his native North West of England.  Matt joined the University as part of the team that established the West Midlands Centre for Construction Excellence (WMCCE), a regional EU funded project based in Central Birmingham and then moved to the University's Business Development and Enterprise department to support other EU funded projects in their delivery phase.  During this time Matt completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Construction Project Management.

Following a change of direction in 2009 which included working for Shropshire Council as a development officer for school capital projects and then a two year 'experience' as a primary school teacher, Matt returned to the University in 2012.  Establishing the Project Management and Governance Team, as the Post Award Manager Matt along with his team provided monitoring and compliance support for a variety of projects across the University.  In August 2017 Matt became EnTRESS Project Manager, with responsibility for delivering the project with the support of the EnTRESS team.
