Clearing

If we have any places available on courses, we will advertise them through the Clearing period. Clearing opens between July and September.

You are eligible to enter into clearing if:

  • You applied to UCAS during the normal application period and have not secured any offers from your university choices;
  • Your offers have not been confirmed because you did not meet the offer conditions e.g. you did not achieve the specified grades;
  • You have declined the offers made to you, or did not respond before the deadline;
  • You submitted your application to UCAS after June 30th.

If you are in Clearing or eligible to enter it, you will know by checking your UCAS Track. This is important as UCAS will not write to you to say that you are eligible.

Clearing courses

You can find vacancies on courses available through Clearing via UCAS website but you can also contact us directly.

We will be posting a list of all our courses available through Clearing on our dedicated Clearing website www.wlv.ac.uk/clearing which you will be able to access once the Clearing period has opened.

Clearing Chat Room and Hotline

We understand that A levels results day and the Clearing process can be quite a stressful time, so we want to make sure that it is as stress free as possible for you. We have created an online chat room and Clearing hotline where you can talk to our team of experts who will be on hand to offer you advice and answer any questions that you may have.
