Performing Arts Masters Submissions

Once you have applied for one of our performing arts master's courses and have been shortlisted, you will be asked to provide a digital submission such as auditions, presentations and recordings. This material is an opportunity to show us who you are, your ability and your potential.  

Hints and Tips in what we expect of your MSc Audio Technology submission 

  • Read the brief sent to you by admissions carefully to ensure you understand what is required of the submission. 
  • Submit 3 files only to include the academic writing and evidence of 2 pieces of practical work. 
  • You will be assessed upon elements such as – ability and potential in academic writing, production of quality standard practical work in audio technology. 

Hints and Tips in what we expect of your MA Dance Audition and Presentation 

  • Read the audition and presentation brief sent to you by admissions carefully to ensure you understand what is required of the submission. 
  • Submit 2 files only for both the audition and the presentation. 
  • Ensure you adhere to the timings indicated in the submissions brief. 
  • You will be assessed upon elements such as - choice of appropriate monologue and your understanding of the play texts, quality of performance skills in voice and physicality, ability to present clearly etc. 

Hints and Tips in what we expect of your MMus Music Audition material 

  • Read the audition brief sent to you by admissions carefully to ensure you understand what is required of the submission.  
  • Submit no more than 2 digital files only to include recordings of two different styles and techniques played on any choice of instrument.  
  • You will be assessed upon elements such as - performing with confidence and communicating your passion for music. 

Hints and Tips in what we expect of your MA Musical Theatre submission 

  • Read the audition brief sent to you by admissions carefully to ensure you understand what is required of the submission.  
  • Submit no more than 2 digital files only to include the academic writing and evidence of a piece of subject related work. 

All audition/presentation material must be submitted to FABSSapplicant@wlv.ac.uk by the given deadline given in the audition brief e-mail from AdmissionsYou can send it via suggested file sharing platforms such as WeTransfer, Google Drive, DropboxSound CloudYouTube etc.
