UWR FS Front Suspension

The decision was taken to opt for a pushrod design, this was to optimise the packaging and weight distribution of the car. The geometry of the control arms has been developed using a specialised software through which various parameters such as Camber and Castor angle were tuned. Going forward we are to finalise our manufacturing techniques and ultimately integrate this system into the rest of the Formula Student team’s designs.
