JEDI is about the exploration of self and finding new perspectives on our journey to become an equitable community for all students and staff at the University of Wolverhampton. Our first step towards social justice is to become unswervingly anti-racist.
Our journey will undoubtedly reveal some uncomfortable truths, which may reveal that we need to unlearn racist ideas that exist due to the circumstances we were born into. While we did not have a hand in designing things the way they are. Everyone has an essential role in helping rectify the situation, and on that journey, we can discover new ways of seeing the world around us.
Fortunately, there are steps you can take to embark on an anti-racism journey. To help everyone join us on this journey of unlearning, we have provided some fascinating materials below.
