Employability
Undergraduate work placements and internships
Whether it's a couple of weeks over the summer, or a whole year as part of your degree, work placements and internships are the ideal way to put skills learnt on your course into practice, whilst enhancing your CV and employment prospects.
Mentoring
Our IoD Mentoring Scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for Business School students to seek advice and encouragement from local business directors.
Professional bodies' lecture series
We invite students to learn from and network with the professionals at our annual:
- Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) lecture
- Crystal Lecture in partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Career Development Week
Each year, the University invites our students to take part in a Career Development Week. This offers you the chance to take part in workshops, trips and activities, enhance your CV, have new experiences and broaden your horizons.
Enterprise and Employability Award
The Wolverhampton Enterprise and Employability Award (WEEA) is a great way for students to gain recognition for their skills and experience.
