Dr Priscilla Eke: - ‘Women’s Occupational Mobility in the Nigerian Service Sector through a Radical Feminist Perspective’, PhD awarded in 2022.
Supervisors: Dr Janet Firth (DOS) and Dr Paschal Anosike.
I was motivated to engage in this research because of my work experience in Nigeria, the conversation on how to build a more inclusive institutional environment has been growing, and I became interested. The perspective was through radical feminism, which allowed me to critique the gender blindness to women's capabilities and competence and provide recommendations on how to build a more gender-inclusive organisational environment anchored on sustainability.
I am involved in teaching and regional research with the university on leadership and EDI. Current research interests are leadership, gender studies and building inclusive institutional environments.
