Apprentice Update: Support, Apprentice Survey and National Apprenticeship Week
Please be aware that this information was shared with students by email and correct at the time of sending. For the latest Covid-19 guidance, please visit our coronavirus webpages: www.wlv.ac.uk/coronavirus. If you are a student who has a query or needs support, please log a helpcall with ASK@WLV in e:Vision (www.wlv.ac.uk/evision).
We know that these have been exceptional times for Apprentices, and this continues to be a highly unusual and challenging start to the year for everyone.
Please refer to the guidance sent out to all students in January following the Government's announcement of the introduction of a further lockdown.
If you do have any queries relating to your Apprenticeship, your first point of contact should be your Personal Tutor or Skills Coach. All Skills Coaches are continuing with their reviews during this period and are there to support and help. If your Skills Coach hasn’t been in touch or you need to make contact, then please contact a member of your Faculty Student Services team or log a Helpdesk call on e:Vision.
If you do need to report an absence during this period and are unable to take part in any online tutorials/alternative delivery, you should continue to log any short term absences on your first day of absence in the way you normally would with your Faculty. This can be done by logging a Helpdesk call through e:Vision or by contacting your Faculty Student Services.
Apprentice 2021 Survey
National Apprenticeship Week - 8 - 14 February 2021
Throughout this celebration week we will be shining the spotlight on some of our employers who are committed to upskilling their workforce and some of our Apprentices who, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, are continuing to learn or who have already graduated. As part of the University of Wolverhampton Apprentice community, we would love it if you would become involved and thank you to those who are taking part and have agreed to be case studies.
The University will be active on social media to help promote apprenticeships throughout the week. Please join us and use the hashtags #BuildTheFuture and #NAW2021 in your posts and tag accounts on your social media accounts as follows:
