You will be equipped with the skills to evaluate, enhance and develop your public health practice and create and develop leadership skills within the context of Public Health Nursing Practice.

- The health visiting course at the University of Wolverhampton is one of only a few Universities to have been accredited by UNICEF for Stage 2 of Baby Friendly Standards. Health visiting students will undertake breast feeding training inline with the UNICEF Baby Friendly Programme and will be issued with a certificate at the end of their course

On completion of this course you will:
Practice competently and evaluate personal and professional performance as well as being able to organise and lead others
If you require the specialist practice qualification, you must be registered on the appropriate part of the NMC Register and ideally have a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience.
You must already have a health related degree and have access to a practice placement in the community in your chosen pathway.

Self-funded:
If you are paying for the fees yourself then the fees can be paid in 3 instalments: November, January and April. More information can be found by clicking here.
Sponsored - Your employer, embassy or organisation can pay for your Tuition fees:
Your employer, embassy or organisation agrees to pay all or part of your tuition fees; the University will refer to them as your sponsor and will invoice them for the appropriate amount.
We must receive notification of sponsorship in writing as soon as possible, and before enrolment, confirming that the sponsor will pay your tuition fees.
Financial Hardship:
Students can apply to the Dennis Turner Opportunity Fund for help with course related costs however this cannot be used for fees or to cover general living costs.
