About Us
The School of Medicine and Clinical Practice (SMCP) offers medical education and research opportunities for medical professionals working in the University of Wolverhampton footprint. We offer the full spectrum of medical education training from entry into undergraduate medicine, to postgraduate courses in medicine and physician associates studies. In development, is a Doctorate in Medicine award and SMCP is connecting with research active clinicians to develop joint-research networks between the NHS and the University.
Our Mission
To be an innovator in Medical Education and Research in the University of Wolverhampton footprint. By working closely with NHS trusts and medical organisations, SMCP is developing education programmes and research networks, which enhance staff skills and knowledge. Together we will achieve: high quality patient care, improved service delivery and efficient workforce planning.
