This course supports industry standard processes for the development of professional quality video, film, television and audio productions. The facilities in Film and Television Production have enabled our students to produce award-winning work.

 

Facilities include

  • Professional camera equipment
  • A range of portable lighting and sound recording equipment
  • Jibs, camera sliders, track & dolly
  • Industry standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
  • Dedicated editing room with linked server
  • Voice-over and Foley facility
  • Facilities for large screen projection
  • A three camera studio with control room and a fully equipped lighting rig

New £5m Screen School

Wolverhampton Screen School will be the ambitious epicentre for stimulating screen based culture, education, research and industrial development within the region and beyond.

Students also have full access to a range of high-end audio and video recording facilities through our Media store.

In Addition

We have access to a specialist in-house digital printing service – the Print Support Hub. Alongside a Media Store with dedicated kit for Film and Television Production students. We even have our own Art Materials Shop, which stocks an extensive range of art materials.

Print Support Hub 

The Print Support Hub is a technically supported, open access area. It offers all School of Art students a range of specialist printers that are capable of printing onto a vast array of different materials.

Including:

  • A3 Risograph printer
  • 2 medium format high-end Epson printers (A4, A3, A3+ and A2)
  • Large format thermal lithographic printer
  • Large Format Mimaki textile printer
  • Large Format Mimaki textile printer

The room also offers two large format scanners that will scan artwork up to A0 size.
