Title of Piece: Flexi-Box

Statement:

The idea for my final major project came from the ocean plastic crisis and wanting to provide a better future for all of us. The Flexi-Box is a food container designed to reduce the need for single use plastic packaging as well as being space saving and reducing food waste.

The Flexi-Box is made of both polypropylene and silicone meaning that it is durable and flexible allowing it to be used again and again. It folds out flat allowing it to be used as a plate before easily being folded up and transformed into a box for transportation. Folding out flat means that it can reduce wasted negative space in storage compared to traditional food storage containers. It also encourages less food waste by allowing leftovers to be easily stored and food to be brought with you on the go. 

My Experience:

Since corona struck, I have been unsure on my future. During this time, I’ve been able to reflect on what I want to do with my life and I’m still unsure as there are many different avenues that I would like to explore.

A few things that I do know are; continue to develop upon my design skills and knowledge that I learnt during my time here, continue to be open to new opportunities and finally I want to keep in touch with the talented people that I’m now fortunate enough to call my best friends which I met during my three years in Wolves.
