Undergraduate

Our LLB degree provides a qualifying law degree enabling successful graduates to progress to further study on the Legal Practice Course (Solicitor) or the Bar Professional Training Course (Barrister) and is therefore designed in accordance with the professional body requirements.

The course complies with the Joint Statement of the Bar Standard’s Board and the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority (overseen by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority). This provides stringent regulations, in addition to those of the University, to quality-control the Qualifying Law Degree which provides graduates with the necessary qualification to further study to become a solicitor or a barrister.

Visit the Solicitors Regulatory Authority and Bar Standards Board for further guidance in respect of qualifying Law degrees.

Postgraduate

LLM (Common Professional Examination) -  drawing on the expertise of our Law staff, the course keeps up-to-date with the latest requirements from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), providing you with the knowledge and skills to succeed in the field. The course is approved by the Joint Academic Stage Board (JASB), on behalf of the SRA and Bar Standards Board (BSB).

Our Legal Practice Course  and LLM Legal Practice Course are accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
