Police Volunteering

Become a volunteer police officer through the university (2 days a month) in order to consolidate your learning as you go along, preparing you for your final application to a police service on successful completion of your degree. Remember that the degree itself does not guarantee you a place as a police officer, but by taking our pathway, strengthens your hand during the application process and subsequent interview.

Others specialist pathways in neighbourhood policing and investigation (leading to accredited detective constable status) are available. Further Information can be found on the police service’s website of your choice.
