Welcome to the blog for the School of Performing Arts. We’re based at The Performance Hub on the Walsall campus of the University of Wolverhampton. We’re a vibrant, exciting School with excellent graduate employment rates. Our students get to study together in state-of-the-art facilities including the Black Box Theatre, dance and rehearsal studios, two industry-standard recording studios, live rooms and mac labs and numerous band and solo rehearsal rooms. Plus, new for 2021, we have opened The Production Hub featuring 3D scanning and printing equipment, costume design and construction facilities and a make-up and prosthetics lab. Our courses are designed to help you succeed in the industry, all feature flexible, professional pathways which enable you to design your course and add to your industry portfolio. So, whether you’re interested in treading the boards on our musical theatre, acting and theatre, and dance courses; entertaining the audiences on our popular music and music courses; inspiring future generations on our music education course or working ‘behind the scenes’ on our audio technology and digital production arts courses, the School of Performing Arts will prepare you for your future professional journey.
