"Before coming to Wolverhampton to study animation I had no idea where I wanted to be in the animation industry, or what I wanted to do specifically. It took some time and exploration but in the final year of this course the tutors helped me recognize my style and where I wanted to take it, and I couldn’t be happier."

Early on in my life I knew that I wanted to do animation as a career. I had the drive to create but had very little idea of what I wanted to do or where to go, so with that creative drive I studied in Games Design in Worcestershire, which soon led to me studying animation in Wolverhampton. From there I developed my skills in animation and not only discovered what it was that I wanted to use these skills for but I also found a style that I believe expresses who I am very well. From Wolverhampton I worked on my first ever short film; Scribbles. A short film that is about two doodle characters, each with their own creative style that clash with one another, and the film is about these two coming to terms with each other’s different styles. The film was made on TVPaint which the tutors had taught us how to use. After having worked on this short film I have a desire to continue working on more short films that I hope one day get shown in animation festivals.
