Jeavan Tagger

"Comedian, number one uncle, amateur DIYer, salesman, but first and foremost a graphic designer."

Originally, I thought I wanted to be an industrial designer, but soon realised that I should follow my true calling and passion which is graphic design. Throughout my work I strive to surprise and delight my audiences. For me, the greatest feedback one can receive is your design improving someone’s day. The role of designing for others really helps drive my obsession for detail. I believe in giving back. Throughout my design education I’ve not only learnt my craft but also some really impactful life lessons, and I now feel a duty that this cycle needs to continue. I have an end goal after working as designer to go into teaching and sharing that industry knowledge to really inspire the next generation of creatives. I think it’s the perfect way of saying thank you. The great thing about Wolverhampton School of Art is that every door is open. From the exterior it might seem like a monolithic brutalist building, but inside it’s the home of creative talent and support from dedicated staff. These doors are not just open to the students, but the wider creative community and every day provides invaluable experiences, including working on live briefs with internationally renowned agencies.
