An aspiring content designer with an enthusiasm for motion graphics, an ability to communicate ideas and express concepts using visual media. My interest lies in the field of ‘real life’ motion and videography. I have been influenced by many title sequences over the years as I watch a lot of drama series in my spare time. I have always been interested in how title sequences manage to set the scene perfectly. I appreciate the benefit and relevance of an opening sequence; it’s imagery and movement evoke emotion and enhance the mood of the narrative. I aspire to work in an established agency in order to become a full-time content/motion designer. To start my career, I aim to become a Junior Designer so that I can gain more experience in the design industry with a view to using this experience to develop my future career as a designer. This year has been challenging due to the pandemic, however, the graphics course at Wolverhampton is great and has been very helpful for students like me who have struggled to discover their niche. We have studied a range of aspects of the design industry in order to aid us on our journey. My favourite and most useful aspect of the course was working with motion design, our specialist tutors taught me a lot about motion design whilst encouraging and supporting me through my journey. After viewing other universities in the area, I’m glad I chose Wolverhampton as the support and guidance I have received has been excellent.
