Light-Matter Interactions Group

The most recently established research group, the Light-Matter Interactions group is primarily focussed on theoretical Polariton research.

The Light-Matters Interactions Group also provides theoretical underpinning to applied photonics research undertaken by the Materials Science Group and alongside research in the development and study of photovoltaic devices.

Its primary areas of research activity are centred around the study of Polariton and polariton condensates, but also provides a theoretical basis for the study of photonic materials and photovoltaic (PV) devices.
