English at the International Academy

The International Academy is based in the historic Priorslee Hall at our Telford Innovation Campus and provides a safe, friendly environment where you can choose to study from a range of Pre-sessional English and International Foundation Year courses. The International Academy also offers a range of short courses which includes the Summer and Winter School programmes, a Study Semester Abroad Scholarship UK course, Teacher Development and TEFL Teacher Training. Our online MA TESOL course is delivered via the University of Wolverhampton’s virtual learning environment (VLE), Canvas and we also provide bespoke teacher development for international teachers of English and testing both overseas and in the UK.

For home applicants who do not currently hold GCSE English and who are looking to enrol on a course and study at the University of Wolverhampton you have the option to complete the online English equivalency course. Please check your course entry requirements on the Our Courses page to ensure that the English equivalency course is sufficient for your future course entry requirements.
