FABSS Faculty Enabling Tutors

Faculty Enabling Tutors are academic staff members with a commitment to the academic support provision for students who have sensory or physical impairments. Faculty Enabling Tutors (FET) are responsible for advising colleagues within their respective schools about individual student adjustments.  These tutors work closely with the Student Support & Wellbeing Advisers. They have direct access to the Tutor Awareness Sheets of students that are studying within their Schools and act as the main contact for issues concerning reasonable adjustments.  When a student begins their course, we strongly recommend that they arrange an initial meeting with their FET so that they know who they are and how they can support the student within the learning environment.
