Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise is an independent small to medium sized enterprise, (SME), committed to support businesses in Shropshire.

Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise contacted the SOLVD team for support with potential technological pathways for development of an event registration/management app. This app is expected to replace their manual, paper-based approach.

The SOLVD team reviewed possible technological pathways such as use of existing solutions, app builders and custom development to make recommendations on the pros and cons of each. The SOLVD team also provided a roadmap for bespoke app development identifying different stages and solutions for Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise’ consideration.

Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise also sought support to be able to track movement of delegates during exhibitions and create custom emails.

The SOLVD team performed a preliminary review of state-of-the-art solutions available in this area and recommended possible areas to be considered for future R&D.

Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise is now reviewing all recommendations made including dataflow diagrams to head start app development with the support of a team of mobile app developers.

Testimonial: Ruth Ross, Business Director at Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise:

The recommendations have opened my eyes up to what is possible, we are currently reviewing the report which is detailed with options, so we can see what could be possible. The service that the SOLVD team has offered is invaluable, their knowledge and research skills really do help a SME understand what they can achieve through technology use.
