Masstech Solutions Ltd are a manufacturing engineering start-up company, initially supplying high precision components to the scientific industry - with a view to offering a service of electro/ mechanical subassemblies, manufactured in Telford using various machining equipment, coupled with a longer-term view to provide assembly.  

Masstech Solutions contacted the SOLVD team for advice on the most suitable IT systems to use for their growing business.

During the initial meeting, the SOLVD team assessed the specific requirements of Masstech Solutions and identified appropriate options relevant to the business’ existing processes.

The SOLVD team provided Masstech Solutions with a comparative study of suitable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and Computer-aided Design (CAD)/Computer-aided Manufacturing (CAM) package for the creation of engineering drawings and programs. This was complemented with recommendations on the most functional and cost effective solutions to the business.

During my career I’ve been exposed to a variety of ERP/MRP and CAD/CAM packages through my previous employer, academic facilities and industry contact. This was hugely beneficial and allowed me to focus on other areas of the business.
