Dr Klaudio Bari - Principal Lecturer CEng, BEng, (Hons) PhD FHEA

Dr Bari’s expertise relates to the experimental and numerical simulation of material behaviour under harsh environments. These materials are metal, ceramics, polymer and composites. Dr. Bari has performed a fundamental research work on lattice structure material for both biomedical and aerospace applications, in particular Ti64 bone implant for human Tibia bone. Dr Bari’s main focus has been for research on carbon composite reinforced plastic (CFRP) materials that led to a better understanding for its crack propagation and their equivalent dynamic stresses under the fatigue cycle. Dr. Bari is a part of government advisory panel for establishing world class X-ray tomography and multi-scale modelling of using high monochromatic beams. Dr. Bari has more than 30 journals and conference proceeding papers that relate to material science and light material selection for Aerospace and Automotive applications.

Areas of research - Forensic Analysis for failed engineering parts, FEA & CFD Simulation using Abaqus CAE , Ansys, solid Works, Micro CT scan, multi scale modelling for Bio-medical engineering (Bone implant), Additive and Subtractive Engineering and characterization.
