Access to Business (A2B) is the Wolverhampton based charity providing professional services supporting local people into employment and self-employment and also offering accredited and non-accredited training courses and office services for local businesses.

We have a specialism for support for disadvantaged people with health problems or disabilities.

Adult Education Wolverhampton

We are very proud of the quality of service that we offer and the outcomes our students achieve.

A great number of students improve their job prospects once they have studied with Adult Education Wolverhampton. Our survey results show that 93% reported a positive employment related outcome. 33% got a full-time or part-time job, became self-employed or got a promotion after finishing their studies. Whilst a further 60% started volunteering, gained valuable work experience or noted another work benefit following their studies.

Bilston Resource Centre

Bilston Resource Centre offers a range of FREE courses and services to local people whether they are in work or unemployed.  

Our experienced tutors understand the difficulties many people face when learning a new skill, and provide the guidance and support necessary for learners to succeed.

What we offer includes: 

  • a range of courses leading to OCR qualifications to help improve our clients’ skills in maths, English, ESOL and basic IT.  Courses cater for a range of abilities, from complete beginners to advanced learners.
  • providing employment support.  We have advisers who support clients to secure long-term employment, and provide help with job interviews, cover letters, job application forms and CVs.

Want to get back into education and learn new skills?

Jobchange has been providing guidance, advice and training across the West Midlands since 1983.

We offer FREE opportunities for skills and personal development, enabling people to constructively help themselves to access employment or other opportunities, maintaining self-esteem during periods of unemployment and career changes.

Wolverhampton Learning Communities

Wolverhampton Learning Communities offers a wide range of FREE city-wide support to local residents who want to develop skills, access employment, training, and further and adult education progression opportunities. 

 

Tailored advice, guidance and support is available, this includes supporting adults who may face difficulties due to:

  • language
  • health 
  • low or no previous education
  • criminal convictions
