Vinita Nahar is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science in the School of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. Before joining FSE, she worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow in Natural Language Processing at the Research Group in Computational Linguistics (RGCL), Research Institute in Information and Language Processing (RIILP), University of Wolverhampton, UK.

Machine learning, information retrieval, data mining, social media mining, applications of natural language processing, sentiment analysis, sensitive event detection, cyberbullying detection, human-computer interaction, and artificial intelligence.
