I read War Studies at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating in 2014. My main focus during my undergraduate studies was on Counterinsurgency, Terrorism and Conflict Resolution. I followed this up by undertaking a Master's Degree in Terrorism and Political Violence at Kingston University from 2014 to 2015.
In 2016 I was hired by the University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the aim of improving student progression from Level 3 to 4 and Level 4 to 5. As part of my GTA role, I completed a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education focusing on post-14 education. Through the Society for Education and Training, I have achieved Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
In my current role as Student Transitions Teacher, I primarily work with students from the School of Social, Historical and Political Studies providing both pastoral and academic advice and support.
