Chris Dennett graduated first class, BEng (Hons) Microelectronics and Computer Engineering at Staffordshire University. Following this, he undertook a PhD in Mobile Communications. He has since been lecturing at Wolverhampton and is currently the Award leader for the BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Smart Technologies) and BSc (Hons) Computing and Information Technology degrees. He has developed and validated undergraduate and post graduate courses both nationally and internationally, supervised and examined PhD students, chaired conferences and published a number of conference papers, journal papers and book chapters. Chris has won national and European funding in mobile learning, pervasive computing and the Internet of Things and worked as consultant to charities and industry.
